Eye Spy is a series of motion graphics highlighting the drastic invasiveness of our social media in a manner that is removed from the data heavy details we have become partially blind and entirely immune to, and bringing it directly to the viewer as something that feels far more personal and specific in the hope that it will incite a feeling of violation and a spirit of self-determination in this digital age. The graphics are distributed via AirDrop in public spaces, to add an additional level of invasiveness. Eye Spy is a critique of our social media systems and the clear violation of our privacy. The project is a part of my senior thesis project 'The Digitorium' at Parsons.
