A Lesson in Anarchy

A Lesson in Anarchy explores the current political climate in Kashmir through the lens of nine photographers living and working there. It paces itself via the Srinagar to Muzzafarbad bus, using each stop along the way as a chapter, and examines each photographers work individually. Most interestingly, this bus was set up as a sign of brotherhood between the two nations regarding their biggest point of conflict: complete possession of Kashmir.

While the bus is still plying, the situation in present day Kashmir could not possibly be worse. We’re physically bridging the distance, but when will the distance of heart end between the two countries? Experience the realities of so-called ‘paradise’.
